27 Oct Medieval Themed ‘Beware The Dark Realm’ Raises Money for SCV Domestic Violence
Beware the Dark Realm—A Free, Award-Winning Scare in Santa Clarita
For 46 years, the Sivley family has curated unique horrors in and around the Los Angeles area. Since 2013, the family has presented Beware the Dark Realm, and this year’s incarnation is the largest and most detailed haunt in years. Haunt enthusiasts and novices alike are encouraged to come visit this award-winning haunted attraction in Santa Clarita, located within a residential area.
Beware the Dark Realm is a high-intensity, walk-through haunted house filled with scare actors, special effects, and detailed scenes in a medieval castle setting. Guests walking through the castle halls and corridors never feel alone—but that’s not necessarily a good thing. Visitors have stated that Beware the Dark Realm rivals many professional theme park mazes, and this haunt was nominated for Best Amateur Halloween Haunted House by Hollywood Gothique in 2016. Beware the Dark Realm is being featured in the upcoming documentary, Epic Home Haunts.
The haunt is free to the public; however, the purpose of the event is to raise funds for the local, non-profit, SCV Domestic Violence Center. With a minimum, $5.00 per person donation, each guest receives a front-of-the-line pass. Front-of-the-line passes can be purchased at the event.
The last dates this year to catch Beware the Dark Realm are October 27th and 28th from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm. Children under ten years of age are discouraged from attending this event.
Beware the Dark Realm is located at 28621 Sugar Pine Way in Santa Clarita. For more information and directions to this haunt, visit www.bewarethedarkrealm.com.
